I almost fell out of my chair when I saw this line.
We have all of Uruguay's weapons returning for this match.
Couple this with the huge emotional let down for Germany,
as Lahm has already publicly said he doesn't want to play the consolation match.
I'm sure there are plenty of others on the German side who feel the same way.

This is a great spot for Uruguay, imo.
And the +420 is a very very generous price taking
all factors into consideration for this meaningless 3rd place match.

I'm on it for 2 units. hope the octo is with me on this one.

enjoy.

I'm certain that by Saturday the German team will be eager to at least take the third place and finish the WC with a win. Lahm did not say he will not play, he only said "right now" he was so disappointed that he was not looking forward to the consolation game.
We're in the same situation as 2006. The letdown then was even greater as it was the german home WC and we got eliminated in the last minutes of extra time. Still the team went on to win the consolation game 3-1.

I'm not saying the +420 is justified, there might well be value in that line. But those who believe Uruguay is the easy pick here as Germany won't take this game seriously are, imo, misjudging the Germans.

Good point, the germans don't usually give up that easily. True, Uruguay got Suarez back, but so does Germany with Muller. Both teams are disappointed, although it's fair to say Germany is more upset than Uruguay, but the germans have great tactics whereas I haven't seen Uruguay playing according to a well-established game plan. They rely on Forlan and Suarez to do the hard work. If they don't come up with a valid strategy, I don't see them win this one.

I do agree with all points. I understand Lahm will play, of course, he was just peaking
from an emotional point of view. I also believe once the reality of the loss settles in, they will be ready to
play on Saturday. The Germans are not quitters.

Having said that, we shouldn't forget that the Uruguay side played very admirably without Suarez, Fucile,
and captain Diego Logano. This team was clicking on all cylinders before the Ghana match.
I expected this line to be similar to the Holland Spain line. Uruguay - 1/2 @ + 225 or +250.
I'm not calling for a guaranteed U victory, but at a very tasty +420 it's well worth a shot, imo.
